Beautiful Book Covers #1

Hello everyone!

Today, I’m starting a new series on pretty or interesting book covers that have caught my eye, as beauty is subjective, but I’m confident we’ll agree on at least one pick! This edition is of books open for request in Spring, so you can call it the Spring Edition 😜

(All titles can be requested on Edelweiss. I can’t vouch for NetGalley as they have stricter regional restrictions.)

Covers are what attract me to check out a certain book and they often give you an idea on what to expect from the story, encapsulating the vibe of the book in one snapshot.

Here’s a little game for you:

Can you guess which one is my favorite?

Also, did I miss any that you think should be on this list? I just LOVE looking at beautiful book covers, they’re like mini pieces of art!

          1. I get a ton of requests in general. But, not a lot of Fantasy and Sci-fi (well, I shouldn’t say that. I get a TON of YA fantasy requests… But, there’s only so many of those I can stomach… Lol! I do have some promising ones coming up, though!! I used Netgalley for a while. But, I was getting too many requests from actual authors that I would rather focus on, and too many of the books wouldn’t download properly for me so I would end up unable to read them… So, I put it aside for now. I’ll defintitely have to try back in the future!!

    1. Right? What I liked about Rules for Vanishing was the negative space art it has going. It looks more clear and striking from afar. Love the intricacy of Memory Thief, too! My favorite was Ten Thousand Doors of January 😄 The colors and details are exquisite!

    1. Right??! Gosh, they are so easy on the eyes, I simply can’t get enough of looking at beautiful covers! But I’ve paused this series cuz I realized I’d be way too tempted to request an ARC of them! I want to finish a good chunk of my current ARCs first.
Lolll, I’m guessing it’s still giving you *the glare* right now 😁 cuz I haven’t seen you talking abt reading it anywhere 😜
